REEL DE MONTEBELLO. French-Canadian, Reel (cut time). A Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. Composed in 1998 by Quebec fiddler Richard Forest, originally from the Lanaudiere region. The reel has become part of the core repertoire of American contra dance musicians.
