RIDIN' ON A HUMPBACK MULE. Old-Time, Song and Breakdown. C Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. The piece as a variant of "Whoa Mule." The tune was recorded by the Texas groups Bill Boyd and His Cowboy Rambers, and the brother-duo The Shelton Brothers [1] in the mid-1930's.
