MISS ELSPETH CAMPBELL. AKA - "Honorable Miss Elspeth Campbell (The)." Scottish, Pipe March (2/4 time). A Mixoldyian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB'CCDD'. Composed by Thomas Douglas in honor of Miss Elsbeth Campbell (1873-1942), a founding member (and only woman) of the Piobaireachd Society. She was the daughter of Archibald Campbell, Lord Lorn, and granddaughter of the 8th Duke of Argyll.
