LADY MONTGOMERY [3]. AKA and see "Denis Igoe's Reel," "Mary O'Neill (2)," "Snow on the Mountain (The)." Irish, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. The tune (which bears some resemblance to "Lady Ann Montgomery"), possibly Scottish in origin, is associated with two northern Irish musicians--Tommy Peoples and Cathal McConnell. The band Shaskeen recorded it as "Mary O'Neill (2)" and flute player Mike Raffety had it as "Denis Igoe's Reel."
