BLOW THY HORN, HUNTER. English, Air (cut time). C Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). One part. This air was written by England's Henry VIII who, in addition to being King and a man of letters, was a composer and musician who played upon the virginal, recorders, flute and other instruments of his day. The air appears in B.M., Addl. MSS. 31,922 and MSS. Reg. Appendix 58.
