ALDIVALLOCH. AKA and see "Over the Moor among the Heather (1)." A slow strathspey, although the first two parts are sometimes played as a reel. Aldivalloch is a placename in the Upper Cabrach, Moray, Scotland. "Roy's Wife of Aldovalloch" also references it in the title. The Gows directed it be played "Very Slow." The American old-time reel "Arthur Berry"/"Yellow Barber" may be derived from "Aldivalloch."
