CHASING THE HARE DOWN THE HILL. AKA and see "Cover the Buckle," "Down the Hill," "Down with the Tithes (1)," "Hag and Her Praskeen," "Humors of Milltown (1)." Irish, Slide. A Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Collector George Petrie (1790–1866) believed this to be the same jig as his "Humors of Milltown (1)."
