FAMOUS BALLYMOTE, THE. AKA and see "Pride of Ahamore," "Sporting Days of Easter (4) (The)." Irish, Reel. D Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Mid-19th century uillean piper and cleric James Goodman included a version of the tune in his large manuscript collection as "Sporting Days of Easter (4) (The)."
