HOUSE OF GRAY. Scottish, New England; Jig. A Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. John Glen (1891) finds the earliest printing of the tune in Robert Bremner's 1768 2nd collection (p. 101). Also to be found in J.Johnson Choice Collection Vol 4, 1748, and Rutherford's Country Dances Vol 1, 1756
