JERICHO. American, Reel. USA, Arkansas. A Major. AEac# tuning (fiddle). Intro:AB (Sing Out): ABC (Beisswenger & McCann). A family tune from Arkansas fiddler and violin maker Violet Hensley, not found in general circulation. Mark Wilson suggests there is a connection between the Hensley's "Jericho" and the Appalachian "Walls of Jericho," both perhaps being versions of a common ancestor.
