MISS SCOTT OF LOGIE'S. Scottish, Strathspey (cut time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Brigadier General Sir John Hope married Margaret Scott of Logie, the sole daughter and heiress of Robert Scott of Logie, in September 1806. She bore him three daughters but died in March 1813, while Hope was at home recuperating, following the Battle of Salamanca.
