OLD MAN WILL NEVER DIE, THE. AKA- "Auld Man is Long a Dying (The)," "Auld Man Ill Ne'er Die (The)," "Old Man is Long a Dying (The)." AKA and see "Bridge of Nairn (The)," "Old Man (4) (The)," "Trip to Bath (4)." Scottish, Reel or Pipe March. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. John Glen (1891) finds the earliest printing of the tune in Neil Stewart's 1761 collection (p. 67).
