FLAGS OF DUBLIN, THE. AKA and see "Austin Tierney's," "Cherry Tree (1) (The)," "Down with the Tea Tacklings," "Farewell to Erin," "Lass of Ballintrae (2)." Irish, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB (Mulvihill): AABB (Black). Also recorded by Seamus Ennis, who had the tune from his father, James Ennis (1887-1964). A part of the tune appears in O'Neill's Dance Music of Ireland under the title "Miller's Maid (The)," although with a different turn. See also the related Scottish tune "Lass of Ballintrae (2)."
