WALKING OF THE PLAIDING, THE. AKA and see "Lord John Murray's Reel (2)," "Tamnavuiln." Scottish, Slow Strathspey. F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB'. "Walking of the Plaiding" is a retitling of David Young's earlier "Tamnavuiln." Amateur musician John Grant entered a version as "Lord John Murray's Reel (2)" in his copybook (n.d., p. 32).
