MRS. GARDEN CAMPBELL'S JIGG. Irish (?), Jig (6/8 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCCDDEEFFGGHH. A jig and variations by Fitzmaurice, who published his collection of Irish tunes in Edinburgh in 1807. The title perhaps honors Mrs. Penelope Garden Campbell of Troup, nee Smyth, of Ballintray, Ireland, the spouse of the sixth laird of Troup and Glenlyon, Francis Garden-Campbell (1768-1815).
