BUCKSKIN BREECHES. AKA - "Moleskin Breeches." Irish, Hop Jig (Slip Jig, 9/8 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune was entered into the c. 1863-73 music manuscript copybook of County Mayo farmer and fiddler Philip Carolan (c. 1839-1910) as "Moleskin Breeches."
