DUFFY THE DANCER (Ua Dubtaig An Rinceoir). AKA and see "Gauger (1) (The)," "High Reel (1) (The)," "Sandy Duff." Irish, Reel. A Mixolydian (O'Neill/Krassen): A Dorian (O'Neill/1001): A Major (O'Neill/1850): A Major/Mixolydian (Miller). Standard tuning (fiddle). AB (O'Neill): AABB (Miller). The tune was recorded in 1929 on 78 RPM by banjo player Neil Nolan (1894 - 1984).
