The tune, named for a Confederate Civil War general, is well-known today under the “<incipit title="load:richmond" width=850 link="https://tunearch.org/wiki/Richmond Cotillion">Richmond Cotillion</incipit>” title. It appears as "Stonewall Jackson" in the repertories of several north-central and northeast Kentucky fiddlers.
