NIGGER[1] IN THE COTTON PATCH. American, Reel. Tune mentioned in an account as having been played in a 1922 Georgia fiddling championship held in Atlanta. "Nigger in the Cotton Patch," a version of "Sally Goodin'", was recorded in Atlanta by Georgia fiddler Earl Johnson and his group in 1928.
