Noel Hill [1] is an Anglo concertina player originally from West County Clare. His name was attached to the tune as it was recorded in a set called "Noel Hill's" by the group De Dannan in 1995 (paired with "Sleepy Maggie" and "Rolling in the Ryegrass"), although it is usually know by the "Mary McMahon" title.
