HUNT, THE [3]. AKA - "Bennison Hunt (The)." Irish, Jig (6/8 tim). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCC. The tune is attributed by County Cork Church of Ireland cleric and uilleann piper James Goodman to the 18th century gentleman-piper Walker 'Piper' Jackson, of the townland of Lisdaun, parish of Ballingarry, Aughrim, County Limerick.
