CHARLEY'S FROLICK. AKA and see "John Stenson's No. 2." "Charley's Frolick" was entered into Book 2 of the c. 1883 music manuscript collection of County Leitrim fiddler and piper biography:Stephen Grier (c. 1824-1894). The first strain is very close to the first strain of "John Stenson's No. 2," and, although the second strains are much less similar, they share a general melodic similarity.
