DARK GIRL DRESSED IN BLUE [3], THE (An Cailín Dubh i bhFeisteas Gorm). AKA and see "This is No My Ain Lassie (2)." Irish, Polka (2/4 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. This polka is from the northern Irish tradition (i.e. Sligo/Roscommon/Leitrim) rather than the southern Kerry polkas that are more frequently heard. A odd version by Ontario fiddle Dawson Girdwood was set in the key of 'E' Major. See also note for "annotation:This is No My Ain Lassie (2)" for more on this polka family.
