Wikipedia:Sleat is the name of a sea inlet on the west coast of Scotland, lying between Knoydart and the Wikipedia:Isle_of_Skye. Composed by Pipe Major Donald Mackinnon of Broadford, this reel has become a classic of 20th century bagpipe music. Mackinnon served in Korea with the King’s Own Scottish Borderers before emigrating to Australia.
