PLEASURES OF HOME QUADRILLE, THE. American, Quadrille (cut time). E Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. This is figure 4 of the Pleasures of Home Quadrille, written and published by O.F. "Cub" Berdan in 1878.

Source for notated version: According to Joe Pancerzewski, a fiddler named Berdan, via Elvy Osborne's (Minot, North Dakota) notebook. But Joe was quite a story teller, and Cub Berdan died before Joe was born. Elvy probably copied it into his notebook from Berdan's publication, along with A.G.A. Quadrille, which also appears in Berdan's "Easy Dance Music" book.

Printed sources: Pancerzewski (Pleasures of Home), 1988; p. 9. Berdan (Berdan's Easy Dance Music), 1878; p. 21.

Recorded sources: Voyager 336 Vivian and Phil Williams and Harley Bray "Winter Moon" (1990).
