SPORT OF THE CHASE (Ceol na seilge). AKA - "Joys of the Chase." AKA and see "New Claret." Irish, Slip Jig (9/8 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB (Phillips): AAB (Kennedy, Roche). "Sport of the Chase" is an Irish variant of mid-18th century Scottish fiddler, composer and dancing master David Young's "New Claret."
