Standard tuning (fiddle). One part (Raven): AAB (Barnes). The tune dates to the late 17^thcentury when it was entered into the 1694-95 music manuscript copybook of Northumbrian musician Henry Atkinson [1], and was printed Henry Playford’s Dancing Master, Part II, 2nd edition (1698, as the vehicle for a longways dance).
