SÉAMUS CUSSEN'S [1]. AKA and see “Captain Moonlight's Army,” “Dálaigh's No. 4,” “Downey's Polka,” “Kerry Polka (2)," "Riding on a Load of Hay," "Tim Guiheen's Polka.” Irish, Polka (2/4 time). E Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The first strain of the tune has been used in a number of Irish polkas and marches. The alternate title "Captain Moonlight's Army" sounds like it was a name from the 19th century agrarian unrest in Ireland, similar to "Captain Rock."
