DOUBLE HORNPIPE. AKA and see "Box Fox," "Box the Fox," "Blockhouse Dutchman." USA, southwestern Pa. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Bayard (1981) says it was well-known in southwestern Pa. The first strain is similar to (and perhaps cognate with) the first strain of Trois copains' 1939 recording "Reel Ti'phonse."
