HILLS OF TIPPERARY [2], THE. Irish, Reel (whole time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB'. The tune has several similarities to Co. Tipperary fiddler Seán Ryan's hornpipe known variously as "Fallon's Hornpipe," "Paddy O'Brien's Hornpipe (2)," "McMahon's Hornpipe (1)," "P.J. Maloney's Hornpipe," "Seán Ryan's Favourite (2)," and "Seán Ryan's Hornpipe (3)," however O'Brien's reel "Hills of Tipperary (2)" is considered a distinct and separate tune.
