STEVE'S CLOG. American, Clog or Hornpipe (2/4 time). A Major ('A' and 'C' parts) & E Major ('B' part). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCC. Boston publisher Elias Howe printed the tune twice in his Musician's Omnibus 6 & 7 (1880-1882), once as "Steve's Clog" and again six pages later as "Clog Hornpipe." The tune was printed by George H. Coes in 1876 as "Clog Hornpipe" as well.
