TRIP TO VERMONT, THE. AKA and see “Paddy O'Brien's Hornpipe (3)," "Seán Ryan's Hornpipe (2),” “McMahon's Hornpipe," "Miss Mahon's Hornpipe.” Irish, Hornpipe (whole time). The tune was originally composed by fiddler Sean Ryan as “Miss Mahon's Hornpipe.” The “Trip to Vermont” title comes from a 1974 album by Seamus Cooley and Johnny McGreevey.
