Jones Polka," "Johnny I Do Love You," "Johnny I Do Miss You!," "What Thadg Said to Biddy.” Irish, Polka (2/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB (Taylor): AABB’ (Mallinson): AA'BB (Breathnach). Tureengarriffe, County Kerry, is on the Castleisland road two miles west of Ballydesmond. In January, 1921, it was the location of an I.R.A. ambush of a small contingent of the Royal Irish Constabulary officers and soldiers that resulted in all the R.I.C. men being killed or wounded. There were reprisals afterwards by the Black and Tans.
