Richards and published in St. Louis in 1881[1]. A “Starlight Waltz” was recorded on 78 RPM in 1932 by Hugh “Hughie” A. MacDonald, sometimes known as “The Polka King.” MacDonald was born in Lanark, Antigonish County, Nova Scotia, and was one of the first fiddlers to record Scottish fiddle music. He died in 1976.
