SUNDAY NIGHT. Irish, Reel (whole time). A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA’BB. The Scot’s tune “I'm Over Young to Marry Yet (1)” appears to be ancestral for the first part. Maire O'Keeffe, in her liner notes to County Cork accordion player Jackie Daly’s album, indicates these words are sung to the tune:

Hey little boy, who made your britches o?
Me mammy cut them out
And me daddy sewed the stitches o.
