HOUSE IN THE GLEN [2], THE (An Teac Annsa Feoran). AKA and see "Little House Around the Corner (1)," "Little Thatched Cabin (1)," "McDermott's Fancy." Irish, Jig (6/8 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune was printed in Boston in Ryan's Mammoth Collection (1883) as "Little House Around the Corner (1)," a volume that Francis O'Neill is known to have been very familiar with, and who mined it for tunes for his Music of Ireland (1903).
