YOU STOLE MY HEART AWAY (Do goidais mo croide leat). AKA and see "Spinning Wheel (5) (The)." Irish, Air (6/8 time, "cheerfully"). G Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. The tune is not Irish, but rather an English air called "The Spinning Wheel," used for a song in Charles Coffey's ballad opera The Merry Cobbler; or, the Second Part of the Devil to Pay (London, 1735), also printed by James S. Aird in his Selection of Scotch, English, Irish and Foreign Airs, vol. II (1785).
