STEPPING STONES [2]. AKA and see "Horse's Leotard (The)," "My Brother Tom." Irish, Jig (6/8 time). E Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. "Stepping Stones [2]" has a first strain that is distanced but cognate with that of "My Brother Tom" in Francis O'Neill's Music of Ireland (1903). The second strains offer some similarities to each other, but are not cognate.
