DUGALD MACCOLL'S FAREWELL TO FRANCE. Scottish, Pipe March (2/4 or cut time). A Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCCDD'. "Dugald MacColl's Farewell to France 1914-1919" was composed by his father, John MacColl[1] (1860 – 1943), tocommemorate the safe delivery from WW1 of his son. It published in the third Cowal Highland Bagpipe collection (c. 1920).
