TOUCH UNDER THE BLANKET (A). English, Reel (cut time). A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. "A Touch under the Blanket" was contained in the c. 1838 music manuscript copybook of Lade District musician William Irwin (No. 32). The first strain is a duple-time reworking of the old triple-time melody "Dargason."
