AR THAOIBH NA CARRAIGE BAINE. Irish, Air. The tune printed under this title in George Petrie’s (1790-1866) 1855 collection is, in fact, “Bruach na Carraige Baine” (The Brink of the White Rock), explains Ó Canainn (1978), despite Petrie’s protestations in his introduction that it is not “Bruach na Carraige Baine.”
