Composed by Edinburgh musician, teacher and music publisher biography:William Shepherd (d. 1812). The title refers perhaps to Cathrine Abercromby (1780-1841), the youngest daughter of general Sir wikipedia:Ralph_Abercromby (1734-1801). She married in Dec., 1811, Thomas Buchanan, Esq., of Powis (d. 1842), Superintendent of Marines at Bombay for the East India Company.
