SIR HENDRY’S STRATHSPEY. Scottish, Strathspey (whole time). B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. The tune was published in 1799 by biography:Thomas Calvert, a musician from Kelso, Scotland. The cover of his collection states that Calvert supplied “a variety of music and instruments, instruments lent out, tun’d and repaired.” See also the related "Lady Mary Primrose's Favorite."
