"Miss Charlotte Ross's Reel" was composed by Elgin fiddler-composer biography:Donald Grant and first published in his collection of 1820-21 (which may have been previously issued c. 1790). See also Grant's "Miss Ross's Strathspey," likely a companion piece to the reel named for the same person.
