MABEL HENRY'S FLING. American, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Credited by Stacy Phillips to blind fiddler Jehile Kirkhuff, who also may have composed "Mabel's Fancy." The first several bars are very similar to the opening measures of 19th century Somerset, England, fiddler and shoemaker William Winter's untitled "Hornpipe (123)."
