Murdoch Henderson {1902-1972} (an M.A. of Aberdeen University and a teacher of maths and science in that city) in honor of Aberdeen fiddler Bill Hardie {b. 1916}, appearing in print first in Henderson's Flowers of Scottish Melody (1935).
