FAIR MAIDENS [1], THE ("Na Aindear Maisaig" or "Na Maigdine Alainn"). AKA and see "Rival Hornpipe," "Turner's Hornpipe." Irish(?), Hornpipe. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The hornpipe may or may not have an Irish provenance. It was printed in Boston music volumes of the 19th century as "Rival Hornpipe" and "Turner's Hornpipe."
