JOHN QUINN'S [1]. AKA and see "Delahanty's Hornpipe," "Delahunty's Hornpipe," "Home Brew (The)," "Iron Gate (The)," "Road to Boyle (The)," "Sonny Murray's," "Wicklow Hornpipe." Irish, Hornpipe (cut time). D Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. John Quinn was a Sliabh Luachra, Co. Kerry, piccolo player, and a friend of famed fiddler and teacher Padraig O'Keeffe (1889-1963). The hornpipe is usually known by the "Delahunty's" and "Home Brew" titles.
