BALLYDESMOND POLKA [2]. AKA and see "Donal DeBarra's Polka," "Jib Polka," "Keep Your Eye on the Linspin," "Maurice Manley's Polka," "O'Keeffe's Polka (3)." Irish, Polka (2/4 time). Ireland, Sliabh Luachra region of the Cork-Kerry border. A Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. A polka version of "Maurice Manley's," played as a polka and a slide.

The Scottish reel "Lord Mauchline" is a generally similar tune, though whether it is cognate is debatable.
