SOME DISTANCE FROM PRUSSIA. American, March (2/4 time). G Minor (Harding): B Minor (Sweet). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune is sometimes credited to George S. Ripperger, although he was not the composer. Rather, Ripperger was one of the founders of Glover's Fife & Drum Corps. in the mid-20th century. He died in 1972.
